2. HOW MUCH ELECTRICITY DOES THE JAPANESE TOILET CONSUME?

In normal idle state, the standby power is 2W per hour. The complete VOGO toilet consumes only 0.048 kilowatt hours per day (24 hours) when in standby mode.

The power consumption of the interior UV light is 1W per hour. As for the maximum operating consumption, when all functions are in the menu, the consumption is 0.25 kilowatt hours. At maximum operating speed: 1120W (when the heating module heats the water to 40).

3. WHAT HAPPENS IF THE POWER GOES OUT?

VOGO SPAIN toilets are of the latest generation. In the event of a power cut, our intelligent system goes into basic function and an internal battery already incorporated is activated.

When this happens, the automatic functions of the toilet will not be available..

4. HOW DOES THE FLUSHING SYSTEM WORK?

The flushing system of VOGO toilets works by means of a pressurised water jet, which evacuates the contents of the bowl in seconds. Flushing can be activated

Automatically: When the sensor integrated in the seat detects a person sitting down, the first flush is performed for 2 seconds, sweeping the interior of the toilet. Subsequently, when you get up from the seat, the emptying function will be activated automatically.

Manually: By pressing the flushing button on the remote control, on the App or on the side button panel of the toilet.

In short, the flushing system of Vogo toilets and many other toilets is based on the principle of gravity flushing, which uses the weight of the water stored in the tank to create the force needed to remove waste from the bowl and clean it for the next use.

5. WHAT IS THE MAINTENANCE OF JAPANESE TOILETS?

VOGO SPAIN toilets require very simple mainenance as it is a toilet that manages its own cleaning

Internal cleaning: Under normal conditions of use, there is no need to clean the inside, as it performs automatic emptying, as well as cleaning the personal hygiene nozzles before and after use.

External cleaning: It is only necessary to use a damp cloth without any added product. It is not recommended to use highly toxic products or corrosive acids. It is recommended to clean the particle filter once every three months.

6. ARE JAPANESE TOILETS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY?

Yes, thanks to their automatic operation, they allow anyone to use the toilet with complete autonomy, so Japanese toilets are suitable for children, the elderly, people with reduced mobility, etc.

Here are some of the reasons why these groups of people may find Japanese toilets useful

Automatic flushing functions: Japanese toilets have backwash and pre-flush functions, especially useful for people with reduced mobility who may find it difficult to clean themselves properly after using the toilet.

Personal hygiene assistance: Automatic flushing and drying functions can help elderly or disabled people to maintain their personal hygiene more effectively and comfortably.

Heated seat: Some Japanese toilets have heated seats, which can be comforting for older people who are sensitive to cold or for those who spend more time in the toilet due to mobility problems.

Presence detection: Some Japanese toilets come equipped with presence sensors that can automatically activate functions when a person approaches the toilet, which can be convenient for people with limited mobility.

7. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE TOILETS?

In order to install a VOGO smart toilet, three basic elements are required, which already exist in every household.

TANKLESS MODELS SL S R SERIES

Waste water outlet: The waste water outlet can be a floor or wall outlet.

- Floor connection: Between 150 to 400mm from the wall (the standard size is 210mm).

- Wall connection: Between 160 and 180mm from the floor.

Water connection: Shall have a pressure of at 0.2Mpa (200Kpa) to 0.4Mpa (400Kpa), and a flow rate of 6 litres in 15 seconds to a maximum of 9 litres per 15 seconds.

Power socket: 230V type F, which is standardised in Europe.

MODELS WITH TANK SERIES A E W

As these models have an integrated tank, they do not require a minimum flow pressure, so these series of toilets are ideal for installation in high floors where the pressure is minimal or in locations where the flow rate, for reasons of altitude, sewerage, etc., is not of high pressure.  is not of high pressure

Built-in tank toilets offer several advantages in terms of water efficiency, design, maintenance and ease of installation compared to non-tank toilets.

8. WHAT ADVANTAGES DO TOILETS WITH A BUILT-IN TANK HAVE OVER THOSE WITHOUT?

Toilets with built-in tanks have several advantages over those without it:

Lower water consumption: Built-in tank toilets often have a flushing mechanism that controls the amount of water used in each flush, which can result in lower water consumption compared to toilets without a built-in tank.

More design options: Built-in tank toilets come in a variety of designs and styles that can complement bathroom décor. Also, because they are all integrated, they can take up less space visually in the bathroom.

Easier maintenance: Toilets with built-in tanks are often easier to clean and maintain, as the tank is integrated into the back of the toilet, meaning there are no additional parts to clean or maintain separately.

Consistent flush pressure: Built-in tank toilets provide more consistent flush pressure, which can help ensure efficient flushing with every use.

Easier installation: Installation of toilets with built-in tanks is easier than those that require external tanks, as there is no need to install the tank separately.

9. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A JAPANESE TOILET AND A BIDET TOILET SEAT?

The Japanese toilet is a single piece that integrates the toilet and the bidet in a single piece developed through high technology, which is characterised by its functions of personal washing with water jet and air drying, as well as being fully automatic.

Meanwhile, the toilet seat with bidet offers the same personal hygiene functions but does not have an automatic cleaning system for the toilet bowl, and it is necessary to activate the traditional push button.

The toilets are complete units and in contrast the bidet seats are complementary accessories for the traditional toilet.
